  various Caribbean and Latin American nations.
  When traveling my senses are heightened. I
  develop a keen awareness of how people fit within
  the landscape emotionally, politically and visually.
  Using intense colors and working intuitively I
  translated my experiences into paintings and
  drawings that are bold, bright and passionate.
  The use of color, form, and texture all evoke a
  sense of emotion and create a direct vehicle for
  self expression. The paintings are active, packed
  with energy and suggestive of culture reduced to
  its essence.”
